Last spring when I agreed to participate in a group Landscape Show at Art/Not Terminal Gallery in August, I thought that I would just show some older work. But then in June, when I was invited to join a plein air painting/camping expedition, I was inspired to purchase a portable easel and create some new work, the plein air sketches from my last post. Back in my studio in July I used a few of them as reference material to create these 2 large canvases.
